First of all you need Jesus and spell check, second if Rip is disgusted by anything its nasty emails from girls like you. If you were really woman enough to keep a wonderful anointed man like Rip and really respected and loved him like a real woman should you would not be disrespecting him and talking dirty about him like that. I don't know everything about him but I met his mother in the parking lot after the Rally at The Palace and I know that he is a Godly man who deserves more respect than that. And as a true fan and sister in Christ I am offended. Boys might date or lay fuck bitches(please forgive the language but that was the best description I could think of) but they take good woman home to their mothers before they marry them. Sweet Spirit summed it up so beautifully. Watching and reading certain interviews he has done, and hearing about all the ways in which he uses his time and resources for charitable causes you can discern that he has a wonderful spirit. He seems like a very genuine person. Hopefully when he does decide to choose a "queen" it will be someone with the same qualities he possesses. I'm a huge Rip Hamilton fan, just like everyone else that reads or posts comments on this site. I don't know Rip personally, and I haven't met anyone that he knows. I am just a person that enjoys watching one talented individual play the sport I enjoy most. Yes he is extremely attractive and he seems very intelligent. He seems to be a socially conscious athlete and a genuinely caring person. So I feel that's why these postings are so charged. Rip seems to be the kind of person you would like to have in your life ( one way or the other ). So little girls fantasize about him... so what!! It's fun to talk about a person you admire with others. There is no reason to get nasty or make racist remarks. And I sincerely doubt that anyone that is involved with Rip would actually take the time to post on this site. It's obvious that we are ALL Rip Hamilton fans and enjoy reading and talking about him. Why not keep it both fun and tasteful. I would defenitely like to know more about Rip's charitable deeds.

Saw the olympic basketball
team and Coach Brown win,yesterday. I think it was awful how Iverson and the other guy was late, and ended up not playing. You Go Larry! Show 'em, you don't play that! That's why The Pistons are world champs today, respect for the game, the coach and each other. Rip, now that the camp is over and all, do you regret declining to go play on the olympic team? I say, If you guys security was questionable, you and Ben did the right thing. I just miss the chance of watching you play. Detroit's Hamilton has risen from relative obscurity to undisputed
star status in the 2004 playoffs.

His parents stood outside a Philadelphia-area hospital nursery on
Valentine's Day 1978, took one look at their giggling and diapered 31-
inch-tall newborn son and knew Richard Clay Hamilton was going to be
a basketball player.

The mother imagined how tall her first son would grow. The father
imagined jumpshots and immediately returned to their Coatesville,
Pa., home to furnish a crib with two plush basketballs.

"We just knew," said Pamela Long, Hamilton's mother, sitting a few
rows up from the Detroit bench for the Pistons' 87-75 victory over
the Lakers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Sunday at Staples Center.

Hamilton, 26, has become a sudden star in this NBA postseason. The
speedy 6-foot-7, 193- pound shooting guard has skinny limbs, snaky
moves and a celebrated history - dating to their Pennsylvania
schoolboy days - of facing Kobe Bryant one on one.

Hamilton's regular-season averages of 17.6 points and 3.6 rebounds
have climbed to 21.5 points and 4.6 rebounds in the postseason.

In the Eastern Conference finals, Hamilton outplayed Indiana All-
Stars Jermaine O'Neal, Ron Artest and longtime idol Reggie Miller,
who once called Hamilton "Mini-Me."

Hamilton had played much of his NBA career in obscurity since being
drafted seventh overall in 1999 by Washington.

Until now.

"Finally," said the modest Hamilton, who recently signed a seven-year
contract worth a reported $62 million.

"It has been a long time coming for Rip," said Ricky Hicks, an
assistant coach at Coatesville High when Hamilton played there.

Cloaked in a Hamilton No.32 jersey, Hicks cheered Sunday alongside
Hamilton's family, including his mother; brother Cordell Long, 11;
sister and Temple guard Christena Hamilton, 22; and fiancée
Courtney
Joseph.

"I'm so proud just to see my son on the court in a game this big,"
Pamela Long said, despite Hamilton's 5-of-16 shooting night (12
points) under Bryant's watch in Game 1.

"Seeing Rip and Kobe out there gives me goose bumps and flashbacks. I
remember when they were kids dreaming of this moment."

Hamilton's father, Richard Hamilton Sr., gave his son the
nickname "Rip" because of a toddler- age tendency to rip off diapers.
To keep Rip's hands busy, the father gave him a basketball.

By age 7, Rip took to dribbling the ball to and from his school bus,
to classes, to practice and to nearby Ash Park, where he shot free
throws through cold rain and thunder.

"My girlfriend," he called the ball. They went everywhere together.

His father, a truck driver, started enrolling Rip in Philly's noted
basketball camps.

Rip, cousin Jontu Long and several neighbors packed into the SUV of
John "Uncle Chucky" Long to drive from Coatesville, 45 miles east, to
Philadelphia for clinics that drew hundred of teenage boys banking
their entire futures on becoming basketball stars.

After a 3-on-3 event outside a Northeast Philadelphia shopping mall
in 1992, a man complimented Richard Hamilton Sr. on 14-year- old
Rip's play.

"Your son plays really well," the man said. "I have a son who's
pretty good, too. I bet they'll face each other in high school."

That man was former NBA player Joe "Jellybean" Bryant, who had a son,
Kobe, and lived in the posh Philadelphia community of Wynnewood.

"Joe showed my dad the ropes and got me started in AAU," Rip Hamilton
said.

Hamilton, helped by grueling one-on-one battles with Hicks after
practices, made a name for the working-class burg of Coatesville
through its basketball team.

Forty miles northeast of Coatesville, Bryant, his career path drawn
by his father, was building a reputation for Lower Merion High.

In their high school summers, Hamilton and Bryant joined forces on an
AAU traveling squad and roomed together, always talking of futures
they wanted to secure with not just talent but hard work.

Hamilton recalled once telling Bryant, "Before (AAU) practice, we're
going to go one on one so I can go at you."

"Rip, you can't beat me," Bryant, who is six months younger,
responded.

"You can't beat me," Hamilton answered before taking the argument to
the court.

"We were kids and loved the game," Hamilton said. "We liked to
challenge each other, push each other. I learned so much from him,
and he probably learned some things off me."

They both were chosen McDonald's All-America guards. They were East
teammates in the 1996 Magic Roundball Classic at the Palace at Auburn
Hills, the Pistons' home court.

Then Bryant's Lower Merion eliminated Hamilton's Coatesville in the
1996 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association state
playoffs. Soon Bryant jumped to the NBA, where he has become a six-
time All-Star with a $13.5 million salary and a $10 million-$12
million endorsement portfolio.

Hamilton signed with Connecticut, where he was the 1998 and 1999 Big
East Player of the Year and the Most Outstanding Player on the 1999
NCAA champion Huskies

Only now is Hamilton finding an NBA stardom that his family, his
supporters and even Bryant always expected.

"It's rare to see somebody who was in the same district ... meet up
in the NBA Finals, the biggest stage in the world," Bryant said about
the reunion.

I was just dicussing this point. Rip is such a proud man, that when he's engaged or has a son, he'll be the first to inform the public, boldly and happily. He has a magic about him when he touches the ball. he is so quick and such a great shooter.I am glad that LB came around and helped him perfect his game, and take it to a new level. hey ya'll i have to tell you a story about rips party last night. so the whole night rips flirting with me...so when everyone started leaving the party, rip invited me back to his cousins house to hang out with a few people. so we go to his cousins house (they call his cousin twitty) and twitty decides to go pick up his girlfriend so he leaves with the other people that were there. so now its just me and rip sitting on the couch.....and we can all guess what happens. so we're in the bedroom and guess who walks in...rips girlfriend latoya...so fyi rip is now single! but not for long cause we're going out again tomorrow night. so if any of you ladies want rip, better get ahold of him b4 i do again ;-) cause he ain't gonna be single for long!so i'm gonna leave you with this song lyric (sorry i took this idea from lisa)

There is another lesson my mother taught me just a few weeks ago. There is this family friend that constantly brags about how many rich people he knows, his glory days at my current college, etc. I have never once held a conversation with this man that didn’t involve him bragging.

So I asked my mother, who has known this man for years, “Why does he do that!” Do you know what she said? “Low self-esteem.” At first, I disagreed with her. “He has great self-esteem, he is in love with himself.” She said, “No, I know him he has low self-esteem.” She went on to talk about his unemployment issues, how is parent’s have to support him, and the lack of a romantic life he has hitting middle age. I notice it now; his only accomplishments are stories from college he can’t even prove that don’t reflect the person he is now.

Bringing us the lesson itself. If the story she tells us is a lie, refer to lesson one. If the story she tells is true, the problem with Kennedy and many other people in life is that they lack a since of accomplishment. She has NOT gotten on this page to boast about meeting or interacting with a great guy that respects women, an academic achievement, or a positive change in her life. But only to talk about the adulterous sex she had with an NBA player.

She brings new meaning to aim low and you will never be disappointed in life. Most importantly, like my family friend, she got on the Internet to boast about something she can’t prove in an effort to make women jealous who simply think rip is cute jealous.

October 9th at seven PM palace doors open for fans to come and see the boys in red white and blue practice its free.
October 13th pre season starts, this first game will not be on TV. but you can listen to it on the radio am station of course. the FAN
November 2nd Season starts verse the houston rockets. The pistons will recieve their banners and championship Ring on this day.

pistons Open Practice went well. THe crowd wasn't extremely big but it was loud in the palace as the pistons stepped onto the court. Rasheed wallace ran around the palace and touched the fans as his name was announced.

~~ i also got pistons tickets when i bought mine I got free tickets for the 13th.
Also i sat front row press row at the palace open practice, and I have four rows of film, once I get them developed i will be putting them onto my site Rip_theworldsgreatest (yahoo site) for all to see.
Also the mask this season will no longer be, unless the team struggles early and it will come out as good luck. Rip hamilton is very superstitious when it comes ot pre game rituals and good luck charms for his games.

yesterday i went to the game and I went over to where the players enter and I talked to tayshaun and he shot a three pointer during the game for me..i asked him to and he said you got it! I didn't get THAT close to him. ANd I didn't bring hte camera this time. i wans't planning on walking over to where they come out. because i got there at around 5:45 i figured they would already be in. but when we got there we decided to walk over ther incase some was slow coming in. Actually he does have tattoos on his chest and stomach, I have a card with a tattoo on his chest, and A couple of times during games he lifted up his shirt and it was on his stomach, its right above his belly button, kinda like where tupacs thug life is.I thought my mind was playing tricks on me a couple of times, becuase Id see it then i wouldn't but it is there, I seen it at the practice. AND like I said I have that card with him on it and his shirt is kinda pulled over to the side a bit..its the card that says MVP in the background, it white with light blue letters.
